CHARACTERS
THE SUPER SQUAD

Brook
Evening light spills across a cramped apartment balcony, a carbon copy of all around it. Brook, an alien to our eyes, leans over a workbench. His balcony window looks onto a small patch of green against the orange glow of dystopia. Brook is soldering circuits with practised precision as he makes repairs, then carefully refits his Holo-belt.
Brook is an orphan from Aurora, his family wiped out by the Red Harvest Wars. He is forced to live in the Citizen Zone, and with few options, chooses the urban ghetto within Galandria City, the centre for the planet Aurora’s Galactic Commerce.
Like many of Galandria's Citizens, Brook is a 'Level Zero', unable to interact with the Elite System or legally trade in the Intergalactic Economy, Corola, the interplanetary standard. Brook is shadow-banned across most commercial networks, and has been forced to live off-grid, only officially able to commute in approved city areas.
To survive, from a young age Brook learnt Holo-Simulation technology to compete in the Underworld Holo=Simulation Contests as both a Holo-Flyer and Holo-Fighter. Asa he found a way to earn steady winnings, which when combined with his wit, guile, strength and techno wizardry - have led Brook to become a powerful adversary. Against all odds, Brook's battles in the underworld built his reputation of honour and diginity in the face of adversity. A Galandrian of few words, Brook avoids any celebrity and keeps his focus.
As our story opens, Brook is close to getting to the finals in the UltraCombat underworld tournament, leading to a fateful final showdown with the murderous gangster, Xylar, who controls vast areas of the Black Market, and a treacherous mercenary that is bound to have something up his sleeve!m
In the aftermath of Brook's hologram-avatar duel in the Digital Dungeon wth Xylar, General Atura, the military leader of the Aurora Galaxy Force (Space Academy), concerned for Brooks safety, takes Brook under his wing, impressed with his skills and confident he could use his talents for good. Reluctantly, Brook agrees and joins Space Academy.
This leads Brook to avoid any punishment, and quickly he becomes an ‘ace pilot’ at Space Academy, thriving under Atura’s guiding influence.
Throughout the series, Brook’s orphaned, wrong side of the tracks past is uncovered revealing how this hot-headed hotshot got as far as he did. Brook is co-captain with his by-the-books, teamwork driven partner Ursula, and is supported by Jefferson – his loyal companion that, over time, has begun to soften his ‘trust no one’ stance.

Ursula
Ursula, co-captain of the Super Squad, is a fighter pilot with a heart as vast as the Aurora system she fights to protect. Ursula’s home is in her squad, even when the team is a hodgepodge group of Space Academy misfits setting her back from her calling as a heroic pilot and explorer! Ursula’s poor but seemingly idyllic country girl upbringing taught her the value of honour and teamwork, but this has also restricted her from taking risks.
Ursula fights for all the species of the Aurora system; from the rolling hills of Victu to the clever Targwins in the open plains of Andrea.
Ursula is also hiding the pain from her past, and is emotionally closed off from making close alliances. Mostly, she covers this up well, but her desire to confront the Zorgons runs deep.
As the war wages , Ursula’s one sided perspective on the battle for Aurora system becomes challenged, as her empathetic nature leads her to question the innate evilness of her Zorgon enemy when clues of their own enslavement get revealed.
Ursula’s optimistic outlook and caring nature sometimes makes her ‘too good.’ Opposites attract, with Brook the cynic and Ursula the hopeful.
Ursula’s grit, grace, and growing wisdom make her a hero to rally behind.

Doc Mercana
Doc is a broken man. Once Aurora’s renowned science-genius, Doc became the fall guy for Space Academy’s science division, wrongly blamed for an explosion in their research laboratory that was not his fault.
Due to his peaceful nature, Doc refused to work for any private military power outside Space Academy.
Now everything is about to change as he finally has a chance at redemption! Unfortunately for him (and the universe), his chance to prove himself comes about when the evil Zorgon’s steal his top secret ‘Bubble Warp Transport Technology’ - which in the Zorgon’s grimy hands could lead to the total destruction of the Universe! This becomes the catalyst that drives the series by bringing him to Ursula and Brook’s ship, and the Super Squad as we know it is formed!
As the backstory of Doc’s fall from grace unravels, Doc must reacquaint himself with teamwork and general social norms, often leading to both awkward and hilarious moments! His inventive genius will frequently be put to the test if he is to outsmark the Zrogons and Armegon the Zorgon scientist who becomes his nemesis.

Jefferson
Don’t underestimate his hyper – bouncing off the cabin walls – pulling funny faces act! This little Targwin from Aurora’s twin satellite planet Andrea is smart as a whip! Jefferson’s natural Targwinian athleticism has made him excellent for surveillance missions - but beneath the goofy grin lies a science nerd and computer problem-solver, whose knack for cracking tech puzzles earns Doc Mercana’s admiration, forging a bond that grows stronger with each mission. Loyal sidekick to Brook since their Space Academy days, Jefferson’s infectious energy keeps the squad tight, though his geeky alliance with Doc stirs occasional friction.
Jefferson’s blend of heart, humor, and hidden genius makes him an unforgettable hero in the fight against the Zorgon Empire.

Crystal
Crystal, General Atura’s rebellious teenage daughter, struts through life with an obsession and flair for glamour and fashion, doing what she wants, when she wants! General Atura has purposely shielded his daughter from the military world - instead wanting her to become a diplomat clear of danger and death.
However, her spoilt and rebellious nature have pushed Atura'a patience, and fed up her antics, General Atura sends her on work experience with Brook and Ursula on a dull trash duty mission hauling space junk to learn about ‘the real world.’ For Brook and Ursula, spoiled, rich girl Crystal is further punishment for their own screw-ups, butt what should be a safe and mundane ‘trash duty’ mission, becomes a fight for survival when Crystal is caught up in Doc’s mission to recover his technology.
To help fight the war with the Zorgons on Earth, Crystal must learn to grow up quickly. Crystal’s competitive zest with the rest of the crew however, leads her into all sorts of danger. Somehow, despite the threats being faced, she always has a new costume and look to keep things fresh!

Sandra Vass
Sandra Vass, the steely commander of Space Academy’s operations, is a no-nonsense leader whose sharp intellect and unyielding discipline keep Aurora’s defences afloat against the Zorgon onslaught. In Laundry Monsters, she oversees the Academy’s response to the escalating war, pushing for rapid technological advancements to counter the enemy. Vass champions a flawed core stabiliser for Doc Mercana’s bubble transport chamber, her pragmatic drive for results clashing with his cautious science, leading to a catastrophic lab explosion that shakes the Academy . Her stern resolve masks a deeper commitment to Aurora’s survival, even if it means making tough calls that alienate allies.
When the Zorgons’ theft of Doc Mercana’s technology is revealed, and Doc joins the Super Squad, Vass reinstates Squad 14—Brook, Ursula, Jefferson, and Crystal—charging them to reclaim the tech despite their past blunders. Her calculated gamble on these misfits balances faith in their potential with a demand for discipline. Vass’s commanding presence, marked by her green-blue Aurorean skin and piercing gaze, embodies the weight of leadership in crisis. She’s a complex figure: a strategist who demands excellence, yet harbours hope for her misfit cadets to rise as heroes, anchoring the series’ themes of redemption and resilience.

General Atura
General Atura is head of the Aurora Galaxy Force, the military defence and strike division of Space Academy, tasked with safeguarding the galaxy through both stalwart protection and bold, armed offensive missions into outer space to thwart and neutralise the Zorgon threat. Atura embodies the moral complexities of leadership in wartime. Atura is a character defined by his navigation of moral complexities, embodying the stark reality that leadership often requires difficult compromises rather than clear-cut solutions. Facing the relentless onslaught of the Zorgon Empire against the Aurora System, Atura is torn between his unwavering commitment to peace and the pressing need to protect his people by any means necessary. Tasked with defending the Aurora System against the relentless Zorgon Empire, he wrestles with the balance between his commitment to peace and the harsh necessity of survival.

HUMANS

Cassandra Chase
Cassandra Chase is a young, brilliant, but struggling journalist with a small YouTube channel (Follow Cassandra's youtube.com/@CassandraChase page here) that barely gets any views. She gets her big break when the senior editor of The Daily Herald asks her to "put a spin" on a seemingly banal story about mysterious electrical power surges downtown. Cassandra traces these surges to two launderettes across town, their constant hum masking something far stranger than laundry. Coincidence? Cassandra thinks not. She hurries to the second launderette, where strange electrical readings and an eerie green-yellow glow have already woken the neighbourhood.
At the launderette, Cassandra stumbles into a groundbreaking discovery: she becomes the first human to witness the tiny Zorgon aliens shortly after their arrival on Earth.. Alarmed that a human has seen them, the Zorgons deploy their advanced facial recognition scanning technology. Using their own recordings captured at the launderette, they identify Cassandra by cross-referencing her face with her online profile—a public digital footprint tied to her work as a journalist and YouTuber. They scour the internet and quickly track down her location. Intent on keeping their existence and invasion plans secret, the Zorgons dispatch a team to eliminate her.
Meanwhile, the Super Squad have been vigilantly monitoring the Zorgons’ activities on Earth. When they detect the Zorgons’ sudden focus on Cassandra, they recognise the imminent danger she faces and go to protect her. Arriving at her location, the Super Squad engages the Zorgons in a wild chase through washing machines that act as portals arriving at various diverse locations around the world. Cassandra slips away as the Super Squad keeps the aliens occupied. During the chaotic chase, bystanders capture the spectacle on their mobile phones—footage of the Super Squad and Zorgons weaving through washing machines. This bizarre footage quickly goes viral, leading the public to dub the Super Squad the “Laundry Monsters” due to the viral mobile footage of their chases with the Zorgons through washing machines.
Initially driven by the prospect of fame, Cassandra sees an opportunity to leverage the viral fame of the “Laundry Monsters.” She collaborates with the Super Squad to orchestrate a live television interview on 7 News, aiming to reveal the existence of the aliens and warn the public about the Zorgon threat. With the public already fascinated by the “Laundry Monsters,” the interview generates massive anticipation. However, after it airs, the Zorgons’ allies manipulate the narrative, dismissing it as a hoax. The Daily Herald and other mainstream media outlets refuse to publish her work, abruptly severing ties with her. Undeterred, Cassandra pivots to YouTube and uncensored platforms, transforming into a rebel journalist resolute in her mission to uncover and share the truth.
Now fully partnered with the Super Squad, together, they soon uncover that Charles Langley, a prominent business personality with huge political power, is seemingly under the control of GlocH, the Zorgon Commander masterminding the conquest of Earth. This discovery raises the stakes, cementing Cassandra’s role as a key player in the battle against the escalating alien threat. United in purpose, Cassandra and the Super Squad commit to exposing the truth and defeating GlocH before it’s too late.

Charles Langley
Under the global enterprise Langley Tech™, Charles Langley has defied logic to become one of the richest, most powerful, and well-respected men on the planet. This benevolent capitalist-billionaire strives to make Earth a better place through groundbreaking advances in science and computer technologies, leading the world’s production of minimum-imprint energy with eco-friendly innovations. His empire drives progress with eco-friendly nuclear fusion, advanced solar and wind energy, and space tech, while its military contracts—AI drones, quantum comms—shape global defence. With planet Earth in crisis and voters disillusioned with power-hungry politicians, Langley’s charisma and solutions spark a movement urging him to run for Prime Minister, a role that could reshape the world.
Unfortunately for him—and planet Earth - the Zorgons, an alien race led by the cunning Commander Gloch of the Zorgon Empire, have noticed. They seize upon Langley’s soaring popularity to infiltrate politics, seeing him as the perfect foil for their sinister plot to loot Earth’s natural resources and orchestrate its destruction. Using their advanced mind-control technologies, using neural implants and subliminal manipulation, the Zorgons now control Langley’s key decisions, whilst letting him believe he’s acting freely, a flawless disguise for their evil ways. Occasional flickers of doubt haunt Langley, quickly dismissed as stress, ensuring he remains oblivious to the alien forces steering his will. Their aim: plunder Earth’s resources and seize global dominion. Their strategy unfolds through calculated chaos, exploiting humanity’s divisions to tighten their grip.
As the Zorgons pull the strings, Langley increasingly pushes for aggressive military policies and shadowy alliances, fuelling proxy wars, pitting countries on Earth against each other to destabalise the world and serve the Zorgon takeover. Charles Langley's AI weapons flood markets, sowing chaos that bolsters Langley Tech™ while weakening Earth’s defences, all framed as “security.” Gloch exploits Langley’s control of the media—through silent partnerships that suppress dissenting voices - to facilitate his meteoric rise towards Prime Minister.
As his political power and ties to international figures grow, Langley’s actions become increasingly unpredictable and dangerous. This rapid spread of military tech to global governments, secretly fuelled by Gloch, escalates global tensions, positioning Langley Tech™ as an unmatched force in defence. Meanwhile, Cassandra Chase’s investigative reporting on Langley’s military ventures—reports stifled by his media empire—alerts her and the Super Squad’s alien heroes to the dark transformation unfolding, hinting at the Zorgons’ control. Her persistence draws the attention of Langley’s unseen manipulators, pulling the Super Squad into a race against time.

Yet, their initial delight in being spoilt fades as they grow troubled by his erratic behaviour and emotional distance, sensing something is deeply wrong. Ethan’s tech savvy and Sophia’s sharp curiosity drive them to dig deeper, unaware of the alien conspiracy they’re about to uncover. Armegon - Master Scientist for the Zorgon Empire
Armegon, the Zorgon Empire’s lead scientist, is a cold, calculating genius whose obsession with copying and corrupting alien technology makes him a galactic menace and central to the Zorgon's reign of power. Known as the “Master Copyist,” he wields advanced surveillance and scanning devices to steal locations, specs, and data, reverse-engineering breakthroughs to serve Zorgon conquest. Armegon studies his foes with predatory precision, twisting their innovations into tools of destruction.
Unlike Commander Gloch’s brute force, Armegon’s insidious brilliance lies in cultural annihilation, as seen in his decade-long surveillance of Endaya 4’s empathic 'mind - reading' technology. Armegon patiently watched on,, and on the eve of its breakthrough, he orchestrated a Zorgon raid to steal the tech, transform it into mind-control devices, and obliterate the creators. Malanchor - Archon Magister of the Zeddites
Malanchor - Archon Magister of the Zeddites, is a spectral force whose icy intellect orchestrates the galaxy’s darkest schemes. Known as the Shadow Overseer, he wields cutting-edge technology to steer the Zorgons’ military might, their neural-linked war machines wielded under his command.
The Zeddites, ancient puppet-masters of the Zorgons, have entwined their fates for eons, their symbiotic bond forged in deep history - Zorgons as zealous but subservient enforcers, Zeddites as techno-oracles supplying AI robots like Tungsten and quantum weaponry. The Zeddites are the self-proclaimed elites of the cosmos, and ally with the zealous Zorgons in a symbiotic pact, their combined power dominating the stars while denying the universe true autonomy.
From his void-shrouded citadel, Malanchor’s obsidian gaze tracks every move, turning chaos into calculated conquest. Once a prodigy of a lost star, he unearthed relics of a fabled, techno-ascendant civilisation, mastering their secrets to ascend the Zeddite order with unmatched cunning, now serving the Overlord with merciless precision. Malachor rose through the ranks of the Zeddite order with unmatched cunning. Little is known of his origins, save for whispers of distant stars and echoes of long-forgotten legends.
His tech-driven dominion isolates the Zeddites, a potential Achilles’ heel. When the Super Squad’s defiance sparks, Malanchor’s cold wrath looms, a cosmic predator ready to crush their rebellion. His chilling presence haunts the universe’s edge, a mastermind of doom.
